Dane N. Bath, picture editor of The New York Times and Time Life representant, received from the hands of Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands “The Golden Eye” Award, for the WPPh of the Year 1973, from the World Press Photo Foundation, on behalf of the then anonymous photographer, Chilean Air Force NCO and presidential photographer Leopoldo Víctor Vargas.
